As our guests walk into our KBIS 2016 stage, they will be welcomed with the sight of our Asian ArtDeco furniture piece that is designed with Wellborn’s New Natural Cherry cabinetry. The transitional style cabinetry showcases an American made company inspired by the culturally diverse trends for 2017. About the Design This transitional stage room, where Asian décor meets an American twist, invites guests in the room and takes them on a tour of design trends from different parts of the globe. The Premier Series Wellington door style in New Natural Cherry with a Slate glaze is used throughout the set at varying heights and depths. To tie the design together the Satin Antique Farmhouse paint color, 2017 Color of the Year by Color Marketing Group, was chosen for the back wall to provide the perfect balance behind the bold details of the New Natural Cherry wood. Function The base cabinetry features open organizer units that line the sides of the cabinets, utilizing the design space as much as possible. The inverted base cabinet not only adds a key element of design but provides a beautiful storage platform for pieces one would want to put on display. Multi-layered lighting is a critical component in any area of the home or workplace and is beautifully displayed throughout this entire piece, by including a combination of ambient, task, accent, and decorative lighting.
