Wellborn Cabinet, Inc., was founded in 1961 in Ashland, Alabama, by Paul Wellborn. The company began in a 3,200 square foot building manufacturing low-cost kitchen and bath cabinets and specializing in kitchen and bath cabinet contract sales for government-financed housing. Since then, Wellborn Cabinet, Inc., has increased vastly in both size and product selection, to include 7 product lines. Today, owned by Paul Wellborn and the Wellborn Family, Wellborn manufactures kitchen and bath cabinets from start to finish in a 2,000,000 square foot facility in Ashland, AL. Harmony and Prairie are coming to the Premier Series giving consumers even more design options at the Premier price level. The wood species offered in the Prairie door style will be Cherry, Maple, Oak and Hickory. The Harmony door style wood species will offer Cherry and Maple. Both of these beautiful door styles will be available to order May 2, 2016.
Ashland, AL-Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. brings the beautiful Essex door style to our Hickory wood species. Essex is a traditional overlay, cope and tenon door style that has a veneer recessed center panel. To add extra details to the cabinetry, the standard one-piece drawer front enhances the beauty of this door style. Essex is now available in the following wood species: Maple, Oak, and Hickory. These three wood species are trending for 2016. The beautiful Essex door style will now have the option to provide that distinctive light to dark contrasting characteristic, which Hickory is known for. Essex in Hickory is available in Premier Series and Estate Collection as of May 2, 2016, and in the Elegant Bath Collection on July 11, 2016.

The standard door style is the one-piece drawer front. Another option to add extra details to the door style is the classic drawer front. Beaded panels provide the perfect coziness in a country setting or even a cottage inspired home. The grooved panels provide a beautiful display by adding a glazed treatment over the unique Hickory wood. The excitement of adding this new additional door style, is the beauty of a painted cabinet displayed on the distinct, Hickory wood species.
