Beth Hajek of Cromwell, Connecticut was randomly selected out of nearly 10,000 entries as the sixth Dream Kitchen Makeover Winner. Beth entered nearly every day and continued to tell her husband that they would win the kitchen of their dreams; little did she know, she would do just that!
The Hajek’s have been working with Fiderio & Sons on ordering their new Wellborn kitchen for the past few weeks. They were coming into the showroom to sign off on the final design. Beth was overjoyed when she discovered that she had won the giveaway! John Fiderio (owner) expressed “We are so happy that one of our customers has won Wellborn’s Dream Kitchen Makeover. We look forward to helping them create the kitchen of their dreams.” Fiderio & Sons has just updated their showroom with a new Wellborn Cabinet Display. |

Clint Thompsons registered at the showroom of Builders Surplus of Louisville, Kentucky. Clint was presented a check for $1200 at the Builder Surplus’ showroom. Clint Thompson has opted to give his winnings to his parents so they may remodel their kitchen. Todd Bauer, owner, expressed “ We are thrilled that one of customers has won the dream kitchen. We look forward to helping them add value to their home and create a space that puts a smile on their face every morning.”

Wellborn would like to congratulate Dr. Christine “Chris” Campbell, DDS on her winning entry in the Fall 2011 Dream Kitchen Makeover Giveaway. Chris registered with Schmidt Homes Remodeling at their kitchen display, located at Rooms by Tagg 2. When Chris was told by Director of Marketing & Advertising, Angela Wellborn O’Neill, she had won a $12,000 kitchen remodel from Wellborn Cabinet, she was speechless. Chris graciously gave her winnings to her brother, Mike, and sister-in-law, Deb, who she said deserved a new kitchen much more than herself.
Christine Campbell is a native of Falls City, Nebraska, graduating from Falls City High School in 1976. She attended Lincoln School of Commerce, graduating with high distinction in 1977. Dr. Campbell graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry when returning to pursue a dental degree. Upon completion of her general practice residency at Denver General Hospital, she began her private practice in Lincoln, Nebraska. Chris loves spending time with her daughter, Rachel. Dr. Campbell also likes to read, travel and garden with the help of her chocolate lab, Coco. |

Nancy came into the showroom thinking she had won a vanity. She was astonished to learn that she wasn’t winning a free vanity, but an entire kitchen! Nancy had been selected out of almost 2000 entries as the winner of Wellborn’s Dream Kitchen Makeover. On Friday, March 11, Mr. Paul Wellborn, along with Mrs. Betty Wellborn, John Wellborn, and Wellborn Marketing and Advertising Director Angela O'Neill surprised Nancy in the Interstate Building Materials’ showroom. Nancy stated that she couldn’t believe this was real. After receiving the check presented by Mr. Paul Wellborn, Nancy couldn’t wait any longer to call her husband to let him in on the news. Bev Connelly and the entire Interstate staff stated that it was very difficult to keep such exciting news a secret. Interstate Building Materials is currently in the process of building a new showroom which will feature a Wellborn Cabinet display. They plan to use a new Wellborn Cabinet banner and promote being this year’s winning dealer to attract more customers into their new showroom. |

When she walked into Heart of the Home's new showroom in Sullivan, MO, Donna Tyree had no idea she was there to pick up a big check. Out of roughly 2,000 entries, Donna Tyree of Bourbon, MO, had been randomly selected as the winner of Wellborn's Dream Kitchen Makeover. Jennell and Randy Wallis of Heart of the Home, Inc., had talked to Donna over the course of the past year about possibilities for the kitchen she needed to build in her new house. Donna and her husband Mark have been living in the basement of their house in hopes of finishing the upstairs in the near future. On Wednesday, October 6, Mr. Paul Wellborn along with Wellborn Marketing and Advertising Director Angela O'Neill, General Manager Kevin O'Neill and John Wellborn surprised Donna in the Heart of the Home Showroom with a $12,000 check toward finishing her kitchen. Now, Donna said, the most expensive part has been taken care of for them. Donna came into the showroom believing she was meeting owner Paul Alexander for lunch, but he wasn't even in town that day. Greeting her instead when she came through the door were balloons, a congratulatory banner, a cake, a room full of people and a big check from Mr. Paul Wellborn.
Jennell Wallis told us how relieved the staff members at the Heart of the Home were not to have to keep Donna's winning a secret anymore. Donna is excited about the seemingly endless possibilities allowed her in picking out her kitchen cabinets now that she won the Dream Kitchen Makeover. Keep an eye on Wednesdays with Wellborn for Updates on the project, including Before and After photos of Donna's Kitchen. Heart of the Home is in the process of moving their showroom. They will be able to use the publicity from the Dream Kitchen makeover to drive traffic to their showroom for the Grand Opening. Heart of the Home promotes the Dream Kitchen Makeover to their clients and at local home shows.

Out of over 4,100 entries, Alana Vanater of Riverview, FL, was named the first winner of Wellborn’s Dream Kitchen Makeover. Stylecraft of Tampa Bay owners Mike and Mindy Schoch worked with Alana on her bathroom remodel and had even replaced the countertops on her kitchen because she couldn’t really do the entire kitchen at the time. Each time Alana came in to discuss the renovation, Mindy had her register for the Dream Kitchen Makeover. On Thursday, March 11, Mr. Paul and Mrs. Betty Wellborn along with Wellborn Cabinet Marketing Director Angela O’Neill and Southeast Regional Manager Daryl Russo, surprised Alana in Stylecraft’s showroom. Alana’s husband had been made aware of the surprise and made sure she stopped by to pick up a touch up kit for the bathroom after she left work. Waiting on her were flowers, balloons and a big check from Mr. Paul Wellborn. |
