At this past year’s KBIS we debuted our new gray named “Willow” it was met with much excitement from our dealers, team members, design partners and the K&B industry as a whole! Our Corporate Designer Karen Salyer worked with our Dealer-Designer Council and our marketing team to achieve the correct hue answer to the new neutral question.

The transitional style kitchen also showcases components that are part of our Active Living Collection – the open space under the cooktop is a great space for legroom – whether wheelchair or a chair / stool – and adds interest to the space as well. One of the many elements that increased the appeal of this kitchen was the use of lighting! Lighting was used in the normal areas, wall cabinets with glass doors and in the leg room area under the cooktop but lighting was also added to base cabinetry in hard to see corners and where cabinetry kits were installed. Just another excellent feature for those clients with aging eyes, limited sight or really for everyone!

The Door Style: The door style featured on the display is a new door style – Messina Maple, a full overlay, wide stile and rail, cope and tenon door with a solid wood reverse raised center panel, which is available in Cherry or Maple and comes standard with a three-piece drawer front (which changes to a five-piece when the drawer front is over 8 1/8” high) or optional slab drawer front. Messina is available in the Premier Series, Estate Custom Collection and the Elegant Bath Collection.
